Fabulous Friday

Guten Tag!!!

Today is another very Fabulous Friday! Recently at my youth group there was a Disney themed night. I dressed up as Ariel from the Little Mermaid. I even dyed my hair red. It was a very fun night! They handed out prizes for the best dressed but I didn’t win anything 😕. I am not that sad really because everyone that won deserved it! Two girls dressed like the Na’vi from Avatar. They told me it took them 4 hours to dress up and get their face paint on and everything. One of my good friends dressed like Mary Poppins, she also won a prize. I wish I had gotten photos of everyone but I accidentally left my phone at home.

I have blogged about this outfit before. I wear this outfit ( minus the fork and hairdye) pretty frequently out in public at the mall and other places. This is one of my Favorite outfits I own. I love how light and summery it is! I also love the colors Teal and Purple go so well together!!!

In Love,

Deborah 💖

P.S. The hair dye is temporary. My hair is no longer red :(.

Gluten Free Fudge Brownies

Hallo Cupcakes!!!

This is one of my favorite recipes since I have been eating Gluten Free! It is also Dairy and nut free. They are so delicious and very fudgy.

~~Ingredients~~

2/3 cup cocoa powder                                                   1 3/4 cups sugar

3/4 tsp salt                                                                        1/2 tsp baking powder

1 cup GF flour (I normally use King Arthur)            3 Eggs

1/2 cup oil                                                                         2 TBSP water

~~Directions~~

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Grease a 9 in square pan.
  2. Whisk together dry ingredients.
  3. Stir eggs, oil, and water mixing until blended. Mix in dry ingredients.
  4. Spoon the mixture into pan, smoothing the top.
  5. Bake brownies for 35 minutes, until a toothpick inserted into center comes out with just a few moist crumbs.
  6. Enjoy! I love them warm and gooey but they are also good cool. The brownies firm slightly as they cool.

I love this recipe a lot. Many times I take this to potlucks and such. I got this recipe from King Arthur Flour. It is on the website and the back of the GF flour bag.

Gluten Free Peanut Butter Cookies

Hi Cupcakes!!!

It has been a while since I last blogged for various reasons, but I am really hoping to consistently blog from now on! We will see if it happens. Life has just been super busy this year!

Anyways, this is one of my favorite cookie recipes. I have been making these cookies for years, even before I went gluten free. Every time I take them anywhere they disappear in minutes! Here is the recipe:

🍪Ingredients🍪

1 Cup Peanut butter ( I prefer creamy)                           1 Egg

1 Cup Granulated Sugar                                                       1 tsp Vanilla

➡️Directions⬅️

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  2. Combine peanut butter, sugar, egg, and vanilla. Mix well.
  3. Roll dough in balls and place on a greased cookie sheet. Press crisscross design in cookies.
  4. Bake for 12 minutes. Let cool slightly before removing from pan.
  5. Enjoy! These are good hot and room temp. (Also good frozen but don’t tell my mom I know that!😉)

There are also several variations you can do on this:

  • You can put a hershey kiss on each while cookies are still warm.
  • You can use nut butters instead of peanut butter if you are allergic. I have never personally done this but I have heard it is good.
  • You can roll the raw cookie dough balls in sanding sugar.
  • You can mix chocolate chips or nuts in the dough.

If there are different ways you have done this let me know in the comments below! Until next time!

Different Cupcakes

Heylo Cupcakes!!!

Sorry I haven’t blogged in a while. Around Christmas time most years I am crazy busy so I don’t have time for blogging.😰 Nevertheless here I am now!

Recently ( AKA for the past year and a half) I haven’t been feeling that well. So I went to the doctor and they proscribed me some medicine and such. The medicine didn’t work that well so I went back to the doctor and she had some tests run on me. So far the tests have come back that I am allergic to Wheat and Milk. I am still going to have more tests and so I will see if I am allergic to anything else and what the extent of my allergies are.

Anyways, because of this I have to majorly change my diet! So as I go and find good recipes I am going to post them on here to hopefully help others that have allergies like my own.

Star Wars Lunch Box

Hey Cupcakes!!!🎂

Sorry I haven’t blogged in sooooo long, I have been very busy with traveling, school, church, meetings, and several other things.

Anyways, recently I was at Game Stop looking at Pokemon cards when I saw a this Lunchbox. It was only $5. I couldn’t believe it was so cheap! So I got it. As most of y’all know I am a big fangirl so I love anything geeky themed. This lunchbox is going to come in handy on youth group trips and such.

This comes with a bag to carry it in so it doesn’t get damaged or anything. While making this lunch in the picture I got a little excited and made waaaaay to much! So this ended up being lunch plus 2 snacks for later. The lunchbox stacks to look like R2D2 so it is very portable. I think it would be cool if the legs detached and were silverware but sadly this is not the case so if you had this make sure to bring some with you. It came with a cutter to cut your sandwich (not pictured) but it is pretty thin so you have to cut each sandwich item separately. I did not do this as you can tell by the picture. The bottom of one of the layers that makes it look like a death star.

I have only used this twice so I can’t 100% tell the quality but it seems to be pretty sturdy. As a rating I would probably give it 4 out of 5 stars. I hope you found this review useful and fun!

Deborah 🙃
