Fishing Trip

Salut Cupcakes!!!

The other day my grandparents were visiting. We decided to go fishing down at a lake nearby. So we got our rods ready and went to the lake. Supposedly the lake had been stocked with trout, but there were a lot of people fishing without catching any thing. We decided to try to fish anyways. We were fishing for a while and I got bored so I decided to walk around the lake. Now the lake is not huge, but, there were woods on the other side so you can’t just go around it. My Granny decided to go with me so we started off. We got pretty far on the trail when it just disappeared! So we saw the lake and decided to cut through the woods to the lake. On the way we saw pinecones, some of them were like 1 foot in diameter and 1 1/2 feet long. We collected some and continued until we got back to where we were fishing earlier. Everyone was fishing for a little longer without any bites when I got a bite on my line. I reeled in and it was a fish!!! A whole bag of swedish fish to be precise. Just kidding, I had forgotten that Nathan had gotten me a bag of swedish fish for my birthday, and I had stuck it in my book bag. Or is it backpack, I don’t know. Anyways, I shared the fish with everyone. Then after having not caught anything in 1 1/2 hours, we went home. I think it was to cold out for fish. <=< (poorly made fish)

I hope you enjoyed the story. Also comment if you think it is back pack, book bag, or something else.

In Love,

Deborah 🙂
